Knowing the natural cures for better health would be very helpful. Instead of using medications, there are several benefits of using medicinal plants.

Ayurveda is a traditional medical system with roots in the Vedic era, or roughly 5000 years ago. It is still practiced today in India. Plant leaves and other plant components, such as roots, bark, and other parts, are the primary ingredients of Ayurvedic medicines. More than 8000 plants with therapeutic significance that are rich in secondary metabolites and could be used as drug sources are of Indian origin.

The medicinal plant leaf identification properties will depend on the type of plant it comes from. Different plants have different active compounds and compounds with medicinal properties. To determine the medicinal properties of a leaf, it is necessary to identify the plant species and then research the compounds that the plant contains. 

This can be done by looking at the scientific literature and identifying compounds that have been studied and found to have medicinal properties. Alternatively, a botanist or pharmacologist may be consulted to help identify and evaluate the medicinal properties of a leaf.
